There were several other athletes that helped assure the win with valuable points including Casey Gilboy in the 3000M Steeplechase (2nd place) and the 4x1600M relay of senior Eric Young and three sophomores (Ryan Recchia, Ethan Haussaman and Jon Vallecorsa) who finished second behind the record shattering Burnt Hills team. Ryan Egan and Mike Libruk both scored in the Invitational Mile. There were a many other key contributors as Shaker gained valuable relay points in field events, sprints and hurdles for which the complete results were not immediately available. During the JV portion of the meet Saturday morning, several Shaker athletes on the Boys and the Girls teams earned new Personal Records. JV highlights included Freshman Rob Smith turning in a 2:06 for the 800M and Steve Huneau running three different events and earning PRs in each. The Shaker Girls Varsity finished 4th of 18 teams behind Shen, Colonie and Guilderland.
