Mike Libruk-Shaker2012 New Balance Collegiate Invitational:
Friday:
Congratulations to Mike Libruk who ran 2:29.96 in the Junior Boys 1000M Friday night for a Section 2 #9 All-Time performance, a current Indoor Season NY #1, and a new Shaker 12th grade record in that event. Unfortunately, four of the top finishers in the race, including Shaker's Christian Delago were all disqualified for cutting in early from the outside box as they all followed the lead runner. This then moved Libruk up to 4th place overall in the field.
Saturday:
The Shaker Boys 4X800M ran an impressive 7:49.96 on Saturday afternoon to finish second to CBA in a current Indoor Season US #2 and NY #1, also in a #4 All-Time Section 2 performance in that event.
