Queensbury Invitational (9/27/08)
The Shaker Boys teams each finished third place or higher in the Queensbury Invitational on Saturday, September 27th. The Varsity Boys finished 3rd behind the host school and Arlington. They were led by Craig Weiss (8th), Erik Young (16th), Matt Blizinski (23rd), Kyle Foster (27th) and Ryan Egan (29th). The JV Boys also finished third behind the same two schools in their race. The top JV runners were Dave Marthy (11th), Casey Gilboy (12th), Chris Herman (14th), Jeff Heim (18th) and Dylan Hedderman (26th). The Frosh Boys brought home the Championship trophy in their race for the third consecutive year. The first five Shaker runners in the Frosh race all crossed the finish in the top 11 spots. The team was led by Mike Libruk (1st), Brian O’Connor (3rd), Ryan Recchia (5th), Adam Schwenzfeier (7th) and Brian Hickey (11th).
