2007 Cross Country Awards Night and Banquet
The Shaker Cross Country teams celebrated the 2007 season at the annual banquet that was held on Sunday, November 25th. Awards were presented by Girls Coach Marbry Gansle and Boys Coach Ed Springstead. Highlights included the Most Valuable Varsity Runner Awards presented to R.J. Sniffen and Melissa Sheridan. Team members presented gifts to Coach Gansle and Coach Springstead as a thank you for their dedication and support throughout the season. Seniors on each team were recognized and each spoke about their Cross Country experience. A complete list of the award winners is shown below.

Brian Hickey and Gabby Ciavardoni led the Shaker Scholar Athletes for the recently completed Cross Country season, The Boys team with an academic average (top 7 athletes) just under 97.0 and the Girls team with a 97.039 are expected to again be among the top academic Cross Country teams in Section 2 and in New York State.
