It was another close finish in the team points. The top Section 2 finishers were Craig Weiss (Shaker) who came in third, Matt Flint (Queensbury) 4th, and R.J. Sniffen (Shaker) 5th. But ultimately Queensbury won the team title with 52 points. Shaker came in a close 2nd with 55 points, only 3 points away from the number #1 ranked team in New York State. The Shaker team was lead by Craig Weiss', having an amazing race, and 3rd place finish to out kick Flint, then R.J. Sniffen's strong performance and 5th place finish. Chris Manico's 10th place finish, followed by Jeff Corelli's 14th place and then Devon Sedgwick's 23rd place finish.
The Boys JV team continued to show steady progress and finished 3rd out of the 14 team field. Again, they were lead by Eric Young, who finished 5th, followed by Brian McConkey (11th), Ryan Egan (16th) and Matt Conti (23rd) who also received medals for their performance.
The Boys Frosh team defended their title with a successful win over the second place host school and other league opponents like Guilderland and Colonie and Ballston Spa. The formula for success continues with top five finishes from Mike Libruk (2nd), Brian O’Connor (4th) and Kyle Foster (5th). Joining them as medal winners were 7th graders Caleb Mellon (11th), Forrest Scaringe (14th) and Adam Schwenzfeier (18th), along with 9th graders Casey Gilboy (21st) and Brian Enright (25th).
