Congratulations to the 2007 Shaker Boys Outdoor Track Team. The team finished with the 3rd highest scholastic average of all the Boys Track teams in New York State. In the competition for the Scholar-Athlete Awards from the NYS Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA), the grade of the top 12 student athletes are averaged in each sport. The Shaker Track team finished with a 97.387% average, less than .003 below the first place Boys Track finisher, Irvington High School. The Shaker Girls Track team also turned in an outstanding academic performance with a 96.582% average for the 12 highest students. Both Shaker track teams should be proud of the hard work and discipline that produced the impressive academic results!
